How To Make Fried Foods With 66% Less Calories

Want your favorite fried foods but don’t want to break your New Years Resolution? Food temptations are unfortunately all over and one of the biggest days for yummy (usually unhealthy food) is only a few weeks away- the Superbowl!

There are a couple ways to be healthy or healthy-ish around these events. Either: a) Deprive yourself of the delicious food and eat solely vegetables, b) Ingredient swap in recipes (Example: Make cauliflower wings instead of chicken wings), or c) Find new & more healthy ways to cook your favorite foods! Personally, I usually go for option B, but this year I’m trying option C by purchasing an Air Fryer! An Air Fryer allows you to make fried foods with hardly any oil. Instead hot air circulates all around the food, creating a crispy outer crust that seals in flavor and moisture. I was a little skeptic but the food tastes great and the difference in calories is staggering!

Now,  Frigidaire is the first range on the market to incorporate an Air Fryer feature on their gas range, model FGGH3047VF! Making this awesome way to cook food, even more accessible! Although there aren’t many complaints about air fryers, something I hear often about a standalone version, is that it’s bulky and takes up a lot of space. But now, we don’t need to worry about that since it’s all compacted in an oven! Besides the awesome air fryer feature, this range has True Convection, which is perfect for baking. And there’s a flexible five burn cook top that has a wide BTU range.

Here are some awesome air-fryer recipes for you to try out!
