True Residential

Handcrafted in America since 1945, True Manufacturing is recognized as the leading manufacturer of commercial refrigerators and freezers in the world. A true family operation started when Bob Trulaske and his father Frank, and later his brother, Art, developed a refrigeration company in their house in St. Louis. As many beginning companies, True started in their garage where they built the first 40 cu. ft. upright freezer on the market. Soon afterwards, they began manufacturing bottle coolers for beer and beverages in a multi-story warehouse nearby.

Zline

ZLINE is a fantastic brand that we've been getting asked about a lot lately! Their products are reliable, well-made, and they back up their products with great service (if need be). The price is so reasonable because although the brand is designed and distributed in the US, they source all of their products directly from China. This cuts out the distributor, bringing the price down. Most times, we aren't a big fan of appliances made overseas, but we really like ZLINE.

Induction: What You Need to Know

Induction cooktops have been around for some time now, but they really grew in popularity in the mid-2000's. Several brands offer many different models of induction ranges and induction cooktops. What is induction, you ask? Induction ranges look a lot like glass-top electric ranges, however, they transfer heat through electromagnetism into conductive cookware with virtually no trace of heat on the induction element itself. Because of this cooking technology, it is one of the fastest cooking methods. Since, induction heats up only the pan and the food in it, the area around the pan stays cooler to the touch, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook. No need to wait for the stove to cool down and for food particles to get hard or crusty.
